WHFP conducted round table on the implementation of cervical cancer primary prevention & screening programs
On September 6, 2016 WHFP conducted round table discussion on "Implementation Strategy of Cervical Cancer Primary Prevention & Screening Programs under the new State Program "Reproductive Health of the Nation" for the period of 2017-2021". Event was held by Charity Foundation within the USAID «Reproductive Health in Ukraine" Project implementation.
The purpose of the roundtable was to discuss current situation with cervical cancer prevention and screening in Ukraine as well as to develop recommendations to be included to the new RH State Program for 2017-2021.

Residents and guests of Kherson learned about USAID activities in RH / FP sphere in Ukraine
On September 17, 2016 in Kherson US Agency for International Development (USAID) presented main directions of its work, in particular in the sphere of reproductive health & family planning. SPECSI project activities and developments in RH/FP sphere were presented by Successful Woman Kherson NGO – active member of All-Ukrainian Coalition on Reproductive Health & Family Planning, initiated by WHFP in September 2014. USAID Day in Kherson was conducted as a part of Kherson City Day celebration in the center of the city.
“Reproductive Health in Ukraine” USAID Project is extended until the end of March 2017
To meet objectives of the "Reproductive Health in Ukraine" USAID project, US Agency for International Development / USAID made a decision to extend the implementation period of SPECSI project up to March 31, 2017. It will give an opportunity to finalize the Concept and the draft State Program "Reproductive Health of the Nation" for 2017-2021, and to advocate for its further approval through joint efforts of members of the All-Ukrainian Coalition on Reproductive Health and Family Planning, and other partner organizations.
NGO Coalition members joined traditional public awareness campaign within World Contraception Day
Traditionally on September 26 Ukraine celebrated the World Contraception Day. On this occasion WHFP initiated thematic public awareness campaign within «Reproductive Health in Ukraine" USAID Project implementation. As a result, 20 NGOs - members of All-Ukrainian Coalition on Reproductive Health & Family Planning and their partners – actively supported and contributed to campaign realization in the format of numerous public events both at the national and local level.
